9:10 am: Meet & Greet All Khateebs led by Arif Patel

9:30 am: Why are We Here? - Am I qualified to lead? Do I have sincerity? By Shomail Malik
New Khateebs often say that I don't have credentials, I don't have enough sincerity. Imam Safwan clarifies how to approach these issues as a new khateeb. He will also briefly answer some questions.  

10:00 am: Introduction to Public Speaking by Mubeen Kathrada

10:30 pm: How to Prepare & Write a Khutba - Imam Kaiser Aslam

11:30 am: Essential Fiqh of Jummu'ah: Dr. Abu Zayd
A brief overview of requirements that completes a jumuah prayer. Dr Abu Zayd review FAQs regarding things that come up during jumuah. There will be a panel of Imams to answer fiqh-related questions after the talk.


12:30 pm:  Khutbatul Haajah  - Breakout Session - Memorize the Prophetic Khutbah & Review by mentors. 

1:15 pm: Break for Dhur Prayer 

1:40 pm: Breakout Session -  Essential Rules of Recitation: In coordination with Imams/speakers    

2:30 pm: Quick Review and Next Week Assignments - Arif Patel & Shomail Malik
